Nurturing Self-Compassion (4 weeks, online, yoga course)

R590,00

About the course:

A very normal part of trauma recovery is finding ourselves in a fight with our body and heart. Often we are struggling through immense anxiety, despair, regret, hopelessness and health challenges such as chronic fatigue, poor immunity or symptoms doctors simply cannot explain or treat in a way that brings relief. It feels hard because it is hard!

But there is a different way. I know it sounds counter-intuitive. I know it feels impossible. But starting to turn towards our hearts and bodies in a self-compassionate way can have immense potential to provide relief to what feels relentless and unending. We have seen this over and over again in our individual and group therapy programs, and now there is an opportunity for you to step into this too, friend. We’d love to have you join us.

In this 4 week yoga class course, we will learn about the key elements of self-compassion well as related, proven somatic therapy and yoga therapy techniques, and how we can use our yoga practice to nurture self-compassion into being. This will be done via a 1 hour yoga class per week with a clear therapeutic focus and related educational content. This is a course for yoga practitioners of any level, who would like to learn about the foundations of nurturing self-compassion and how their yoga practice can support their wellbeing in this area. It is both an educational and practically personal course. Beginners in yoga are welcome! NB: all my email subscribers receive 5% off their first order, claim yours here: https://candiceclark.co.za/shop/
