About the Masterclass: Trauma does not always begin with the individual. Increasingly, research in epigenetics and intergenerational studies reveals that the experiences of our ancestors—their pain, struggles, and unresolved traumas—can leave imprints on subsequent generations. These imprints influence our physical, emotional, and relational health in profound ways. The Working with Inherited Trauma Masterclass is designed to help yoga teachers and mental health professionals better understand how trauma is inherited, how it manifests in clients, and how to work effectively within their scope of practice to support healing and transformation.

In this comprehensive masterclass, participants will dive into the science of epigenetics, exploring how environmental factors and stressors can alter gene expression and be passed down through generations. We will connect these findings to attachment theory, examining how inherited trauma can disrupt secure attachment and impact emotional regulation, self-concept, and relationships. The masterclass will also introduce participants to family constellations—a systemic therapeutic approach that sheds light on hidden dynamics within family systems and offers pathways to resolution and balance. Participants will learn to identify the signs of inherited trauma in their clients, including patterns of anxiety, depression, physical symptoms without clear medical explanations, or recurring family struggles. They will also explore practical tools and interventions suitable for their professional roles.

Join us for this transformative learning experience and gain the tools to work more effectively with inherited trauma, deepen your practice, and contribute to the healing of individuals, families, and communities. Together, we can honor the past while creating a foundation for resilience and connection in the present.
