Hello friend,
My name is Cands. I’m a licensed counselor and yoga therapist that specialises in trauma and mental health. I’ve worked with 2000+ trauma survivors, supporting the recovery from psychological trauma.
Out of this deep, lived experience I have grown a training practice to support mental health professionals, yoga teachers and those simply curious ☺️ in facilitating trauma-sensitive yoga. We have now graduated 130+ counselors and facilitators in our training practice!
I have also just completed my Masters thesis on trauma-sensitive yoga in the South African context. This means that you are not only receiving training direct from me, based on many hours of personal and professional experience and training, but insights that are also based on current world-class academic research in this field.
I am particularly passionate about supporting the work of healers. Those deeply committed to this important work in the world. I’m so glad you are here.
