Our Cilent Visual Assessment Tool is a user-friendly, step-by-step guide that leads you through different parts of the body—such as the neck, shoulders, abdomen, and lower back—where trauma may be stored. Through guided observations and intuitive visual cues, practitioners can assess clients with heightened sensitivity to the physical manifestations of trauma.
- Holistic Approach: Explore the connection between body and mind by identifying areas of the body commonly affected by trauma. This tool helps practitioners recognize the subtle physical signals that may indicate unresolved trauma.
- For All Levels: Whether you’re new to trauma work or an experienced professional, our tool is easy to use and provides valuable insights at every stage of your practice.
- Trauma-Sensitive Practice: Enhance your trauma-sensitive care by integrating body-based assessments into your therapeutic approach. The tool is grounded in the latest research on trauma and its impact on the nervous system.
Hello 😊
I’m Cands. A licensed counselor and yoga therapist that specialises in trauma and mental health. I love lasagne, my gorgeous 10 month old baby girl and a really good belly laugh. I’m not that into tv (except for my annual rewatch of Gilmore girls), and prefer reading, crafting and adventuring. I love being outdoors, and finding new foodie spots.
I am so passionate about *not* gatekeeping mental health. I believe everyone deserves access to evidence-based, excellent quality mental healthcare. My training practice has really blossomed over the last several years with a dedicated scholarship program. I love this work. Those closest to me would describe me as compassionate, empathetic, creative, thoughtful and (particularly my husband) determined. Sometimes stubborn. Sometimes passionate advocate – I seriously despise bullying behavior. I’m at my best when I’ve had a good sleep, nutritious power lunch, and time to think, write and reflect.
The most interesting and important thing about me is not the chronic illness I’ve overcome and was told would never be healed, nor the early adulthood trauma that should have killed me – but that I survived. My faith is my unwavering anchor. I am a determined light-seeker. I’ve survived all my hard days and I’m here to show others it can be done.
At my core, I’m a sensitive soul, with big dreams and the hope that I leave somewhat of a mark on this world. I’m so glad you’re here with me.
