Trauma-sensitive yoga is well-supported in academic research and anecdotally, to be a highly effective support to trauma survivors on a trauma recovery journey. In this free, 2 hour, online webinar workshop we will be providing an introduction to trauma, and the hope that trauma-sensitive yoga provides to trauma survivors. It is designed to introduce you to the key elements of trauma, trauma recovery theory, and trauma-sensitive yoga. This is a webinar workshop for yoga teachers, mental health professionals, healthcare practitioners and the simply curious, who would like to deepen their knowledge in this area. Beginners are welcome!

As it is an on-demand, 2 hour webinar workshop, you can access it at a day / time that works best for you. However, please note that this is a limited time offer. Access will expire after 2 weeks. Candice Clark (your host) is a licensed counsellor and yoga therapist that specialises in trauma and mental health. She has worked with numerous individuals and on group therapy programs in South Africa and internationally, supporting the recovery from psychological trauma. She is currently completing her Masters thesis on trauma-sensitive yoga in the South African context. She trains local psychologists, counsellors, healthcare practitioners and yoga teachers on trauma, trauma recovery and nervous system informed approaches to mental healthcare.
